puto seko
Puto Seko
Although the word “puto” automatically conjures up a spongey rice muffin-like “cake” for most Filipinos, it can be understood as a generic term for a rice pastry — think of puto maya and puto seko. (Seco is the Spanish word for “dry.”)
Puto Seko biscuits have been called Philippine snow cream cookies as well.
