malunggay
Malunggay is the Tagalog word for what’s called moringa in English.
Moringa’s dark-green leaves are known to be packed with nutrients. They’re considered a vegetable in the Philippines and traditionally have been used as an ingredient in Filipino dishes like tinolang manok (chicken ginger soup)
In recent years, malunggay has been turned into teas and has been used as a nutrition-booster for all sorts of food — even commercial snacks and instant noodles.
