Foremost, there are the Chinese-influenced noodle dishes like pancit canton, bihon, sotanghon, luglug, and misua. The noodles used in these pancit dishes vary in ingredients from wheat to cornstarch to rice. Then there are different preparations as well.

And of course, we Filipinos enjoy Western pasta dishes that use Italian-inspired noodles — spaghetti and macaroni in particular. We prepare them with sweet Pinoy-style red sauce and on special days, white carbonara sauce!
