Frozen Lumpia / Filipino Egg Rolls

If only we had time to make everything from scratch… but we don’t. And that’s where these frozen egg rolls come in.

Once in a while, katamad… we want to skip the chopping, dicing, mixing, and even the rolling-wrapping, and just open a pack of frozen lumpia!

We’ll still need to heat the oil and place the egg rolls in. But that’s all there is to it. Convenience brought to us by these companies: Goldilocks, PFC, Tropics, Masagana, and a few Chinese-American companies as well. The Indonesians manufacture frozen lumpia as well, but it doesn’t look like they’ve made that significant an incursion into the U.S. market yet.
