It’s pretty hard these days to actually cook rice or stews well the old-fashioned way using a palayok. Best to use a rice cooker and modern pots — that’s what innovation is for. 🙂
But these palayok can of course be used to teach about Philippine cultural heritage. And they provide a nice decorative touch in the right design context. They can be used as containers for candies and such.
