But what is Sinamak?
Sinamak is a traditional Filipino spiced vinegar originating from the Iloilo region in the Visayas. It is made by infusing vinegar—commonly white, cane, or coconut vinegar—with a mixture of spices and aromatics such as bird’s eye chili peppers, garlic, ginger, whole peppercorns, onions, and sometimes dried mango or other tropical fruits for added flavor.
