Ho-Land brand of Hopia
Hopya are thick pastries created by Fukienese immigrants from China. These treats can have different shapes and fillings. The most common type is round and filled with black mung-bean paste. In the Philippines, a novelty item that has become mainstream is hopiang ube, which substitutes purple yam for the mung beans.
