Traditionally in the Philippines, champorado is made from scratch by boiling sticky rice and cocoa powder. But in our modern era of convenience, all we have to do is open a pack of dry champorado mix, and add boiling water.

Filipinos love pouring on top of champurado a generous amount of milk — even condensed milk! Some will go as far as adding spoonfuls of sugar!
