Nathaniel’s brand of Buko Pandan Juice from the province of Pampanga, Philippines.
Buko (sometimes stylistically spelled as “buco”) is young coconut with tender flesh. It is white in color.
Pandan refers to the fragrant leaves of the screwpine plant. It is green.
Buko Pandan with cubes of green “jello” is often served as a dessert or chilled snack in the Philippines. In fact, Nathaniel’s became famous in the year 1994 first and foremost because of their buko pandan dessert, which you can still buy in squarish tubs in many stores’ frozen section.
This product is a 500-ml bottle of BP juice!
Best to keep frozen when shipping over the Pacific. 😉
