Aroy-D is a brand name from Thailand, another independent country in Southeast Asia.

Because of the proximity, quite a bit of foodstuff in the Philippines have very similar counterparts in Thailand.

Many Thai ingredients are familiar to Filipinos — particularly fruits, rice, coconut milk, and fish sauce.
