How to Take Care of a Barong

Do NOT dry clean.
Hand wash only. Soak in mild detergent.

Do NOT wring dry.
Drip dry until slightly damp. Then use a cool iron.

Traditionally, ground rice is added to the laundry water in order for the fabrics to absorb the starchy component and remain pliable and shiny.
